Planning your wedding is such an exciting time, and I’d be honoured to be part of it! As a Taunton-based wedding photographer, I truly adore capturing the love, laughter, and joy of each couple’s special day. What to expect.
I am a friendly, conscientious person who certainly does not strive for the limelight. This day is not about me, it's your day and I am there to support you. Whether that is helping to provide thread so that a button can be sewn on, fluffing your dress or helping the groomsmen do their ties, I will be there to help. All whilst capturing these moments with my camera.
I love talking 'weddings' and so I am always keen to hear all the details, your plans and your hopes for your big day. If I know what is important to you and am prepared for the different elements of your day, I am better able to capture those key moments. I am organised and I am of the attitude, if I am going to do something, I am going to give it all I've got. No half measures for me.
Through our preliminary chats about your plans for the day, I will gauge your hopes and wishes for your photography.
On the day, I will blend into the background so that you can enjoy yourself with your loved ones. My documentary approach means that you can just relax and be yourself. I will capture the interactions of you and your guests and the details that you have spent so much time and effort planning for. These details help to capture the atmosphere, excitement, and narrative of your day. Your gallery will be a story in pictures.
Perhaps you are feeling a little anxious about you portrait sessions. This is where I will support you through prompts and guidance so that you feel confident in front of the camera. Many of my couples are surprised with how much fun we had capturing these beautiful, natural images.

I also love incorporating a touch of editorial style—carefully composed images that highlight the beauty, details, and atmosphere of your day. I hand-edit all of my images so, when you book me, you know that I have selected each one of your images and edited them in my own unique style and to my high standards. I am not a photographer that takes on multiple weddings throughout the week. Your wedding is not just a number, it is personal. I limit my bookings so that I can give each wedding 100% and the editing time needed to provide my highest quality wedding galleries. When you book me, you know that you are my focus and I am fresh and ready to give you my all.

Each photo is carefully edited to bring out the best in the scene without feeling overdone, allowing you to relive your wedding day in its most genuine form—beautiful, classic, and full of life.
I will offer a predominantly colourful gallery, but I do love black and white images, too, and these will be scattered throughout your gallery. Black and white photos can really relay the emotions and the beauty of light in a unique and eye-catching way.
I pay close attention to every detail, both in capturing the moments and in the editing process, ensuring that your photos feel natural and true to the essence of your day. My editing works on what is natural and true to life. I do not alter people's appearances and shape. When editing, I treat each image as if it were my own—editing in a way that I would want to be edited myself. This means keeping everything authentic, with a focus on enhancing the natural light, colours, and emotions without over-editing. My goal is to create images that reflect the real, beautiful moments of your day, so they feel timeless and effortless.

I love capturing the small details to the grand gestures. A wedding day is busy and it is so easy to miss moments and forget some of the details of your day with the passing of time. I will capture these details, such as your shoes, your veil, the perfume or aftershave. I will immortalise these choices and details, documenting them when telling your wedding story.

Plan and shoot your day
Choose me to capture your day and I will support you in getting the best from your photography. I will capture the love, joy and story of your big day.
Edit and Deliver
Your images will be hand-edited with love and care in my own unique style. Your images will be shared online on a password protected gallery, delivered to you on a USB. Beautiful prints, from a professional lab, will also be delivered with certain packages.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
01.
Do you cover areas outside of Somerset?
Yes. I will happily travel throughout Somerset and beyond. I cover the first 20 miles from Taunton for free, and then there is a reasonable charge when travelling further which will cover my expenses.

Do you do group photos?
Yes I do. Obviously, if you really don't want any group photos then I will not capture these, but it is something I would recommend you allow time for. These photos with your closest family and friends may be one of the few that you have with everyone together. I would recommend keeping these images to no more than 6-8 different groups and these will take me roughly 20-30 mins to capture.

Do we need to meet with you before our wedding day?
I strongly recommend talking to your potential photographer before you book them. I offer a phone or video call which are relaxed and informal and allows us the chance to chat about your wedding plans, for me to talk to you about how I work and for you to ask any questions you might have. Once you book me, I will arrange a call closer to your wedding day so that you can share your final arrangements with me, your timeline and your group shots.

Does it matter that you have never worked at our venue before?
Absolutely not. A predominant part of what I do is look at light in order to capture the best images. This changes on a day by day basis. As soon as I get to your venue, I am looking at where the best light is on that day. Also, I work to capture the vibe of your day and this is a reflection of you and your story. Choosing a photographer you love is more important than if they have photographed another person's wedding at your venue.
