I’m a wedding, family, and couples photographer based in Taunton, Somerset.
Whether I’m capturing a joyful wedding day, the closeness of a family session, or the quiet anticipation of a maternity shoot, my style is relaxed, friendly, and full of heart.
I photograph across Somerset and the West Country, bringing a calm, supportive presence to every session so you can feel at ease and truly be yourselves in front of the camera.
Photography has always been more than just a job – it’s my way of connecting with people and preserving the beautiful, fleeting moments that tell your unique story.
My journey began when my children were born. I needed a creative outlet and found it through capturing their everyday magic. That passion turned into a business – and now, over 7 years later, I still feel incredibly lucky to do what I love every single day.
From the raw emotion of a wedding to the laughter and chaos of a family shoot, I love documenting real, meaningful moments. I believe the best photos happen when you feel relaxed and understood – which is exactly what I aim to bring to every shoot.

Life behind the lens- a little bit about me.
I love to go on trips away with my husband and our beautiful whippet fur baby. Long walks followed by an evening of nice food, glass of wine and some time snuggled on the sofa with a good book, makes me very happy. During the warmer months you will find me in my garden or greenhouse, battling nature by trying to grow my own flowers, fruits and vegetables, with mixed success.
I have been married to my lovely husband, Sean, for 25 years, so yes, I genuinely believe in love and marriage. I have two boys, now growing into fine young men, who make us extremely proud. Having my family around me is my favourite thing, even though it can be noisy and boisterous, and table conversations often involve topics such as, what we would do in a zombie apocalypse (one of the joys of being a boy mum).
What inspires my photography?
Photography, for me, is about capturing the beauty of connection—the little moments that often go unnoticed but mean the most. The way a child’s hand rests in their parent’s arm, the laughter shared between siblings, or the quiet, loving glances exchanged between generations—these are the details that inspire me. I love freezing these fleeting moments in time, creating images that bring warmth and nostalgia every time they’re seen. My approach is all about authenticity, ensuring that every photograph reflects the true essence of your family’s love and bond.
I am also deeply inspired by the elegance of natural light and the timeless beauty of true-to-colour imagery. I believe that photographs should feel as real and vibrant as the memories they hold, which is why I strive for an editing style that enhances rather than alters. Whether we’re outdoors in a golden sunset or in the comfort of your home, my goal is to create a relaxed, joyful experience where your family’s story unfolds naturally. Every session is an opportunity to document love, laughter, and togetherness in a way that will be treasured for years to come.
My style, influences and approach.
So, a little bit about my style. I am fortunate to live in the beautiful county of Somerset, and my surroundings play a large part in the look of my images. I love the kaleidoscope of colours of our Somerset hedgerows in spring, the rich tones of the Quantock Hills and Exmoor, and the blues and greys of the coastline. All of this inspires my work and I strive to capture this natural beauty within my portrait photography. I love capturing outdoors portraits, regardless of the weather or season. I would therefore describe my photography as
My goal is to make you feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera. I don't just want you to have beautiful images that you will love; I want you to also enjoy the experience, too. I know that having your photo taken can feel daunting, but I will guide you through your session. You won't be left to flounder, wondering how to stand or where to look. I will support you every step of the way.
I pride myself on being reliable, friendly and passionate about photography. I love to be organised. Yes, I am THAT person who has a bag full of plasters, safety pins, ribbons and thread as you just never know when you might need them! I put it down to being a mother of two boisterous boys.
As a wedding and family photographer, based in the market town of Taunton, I feel incredibly lucky to be surrounded by so many beautiful places to get married or to capture family photos. Being outside, surrounded by the natural world and all its rich colours, makes my soul sing, and I love bringing this into my photography.
