My approach is all about fun, play, and gentle prompts to encourage natural, authentic interactions that truly capture the essence of your family. From Booking to Beautiful Moments — Here's How It Works
From the moment you get in touch, I’ll guide you every step of the way. We'll chat about your ideal location and who's in your family group—don’t worry if you're unsure, I’m happy to suggest beautiful local spots.
Once we’ve set a date and location, I’ll send over a contract and secure your session with a deposit. We’ll also find the best time of day—usually early morning or evening—for soft, natural light. You’ll receive a complimentary style guide, and I’m always here to help with outfit ideas.
On the day, we’ll spend up to two relaxed hours together, capturing genuine moments of connection and joy. I’ll gently guide you with prompts and games that help kids feel at ease, allowing for natural, emotive images full of love and personality.
After the session, I’ll lightly edit around 60 images and share them in a private online gallery. You’ll choose your favourite 30 for detailed hand-editing in my signature style. Your final collection will be delivered via USB and a secure gallery, with options to purchase more images or beautiful prints.

Plan and shoot your day
Allow me the honor of capturing your family’s most meaningful moments. I’ll guide you with care to ensure your photos reflect the love, joy, and connection you share.
Edit and Deliver
You will have a selection of the best images of your photoshoot to choose from. You will be able to choose your favourite 30 images which will then be hand-edited with love and care in my own unique style. Your images will be shared with you via an online, password protected gallery and delivered to you on a USB.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do you cover areas outside of Somerset?
Yes. I will happily travel throughout Somerset and beyond. I cover the first 20 miles from Taunton for free, and then there is a reasonable charge when travelling further which will cover my expenses.

Do we get to choose our images?
Yes you do. After your photoshoot, I will select approximately 50 of the best images and place them in a lightly edited password protected gallery. You can then choose you 20 favourite images which I will then hand-edit in my own unique style. You do have the option of purchasing more images if you would like to.

We are really nervous in front of the camera. Can you help?
This is perfectly normal. Most people feel a bit anxious about having a photoshoot done. But please don't let this stop you from taking the plunge. I will guide you through your photoshoot with gentle prompts and guidance. We will have a giggle and some fun. You will be able to just be yourselves as you walk, hold hands, laugh and just generally have fun together.

What are some good places to have our photos taken?
Well, we are a little spoilt for choice here in Somerset. The Quantock Hills are on my doorstep and I love the varied landscape which changes throughout the seasons. Kilve Beach and Brean Beach are also favourites of mine. The Somerset Levels with its rivers, open landscape and summer meadows also look beautiful in photos.
